The Magic should just give its draft picks away
Seriously, does anyone really think the Magic are going to make the right decision when the 22nd pick on Thursday night?
They have screwed up so many drafts in the last few years, that it has become comical. The laundry list of players they could have had is not though.
I still remember sitting at the draft party a few years ago, when I heard the name J.J. Redick announced. I knew he wasn’t going to make it in the NBA, the guy played no D in college, and that seems to be exactly what the Magic are always wanting, a guy to come in and play D, (see: Keith Bogans)
The Magic should just disband its scouting department and save the money. There has got be something else they can spend it on, because right now it’s just being flushed down a toilet.

When I saw an update and it wasn’t about the Cubs I thought I went to the wrong website. I think the Magic should trade away their draft pick and re-sign Greg Kite.

Sos, if the news hasnt gotten to Chinky Town yet, the White Sox swept the Cubs this past weekend. I doubt this type of story will make it on the blog.

whoah, new contributor! how’s the ball and chain my man?! and gree, don’t worry, i’m in the only (pseudo) country in the non-latin world that actually gives a crap about baseball, so did I hear that the white-a soksa beating the cub (no s)…..you bet i did. also, managed to drunk dial the ogre last night (in hindsight maybe i shouldn’t admit to DRUNK DIALING A DUDE, but i’ll claim that “none of the chicks in my fone were picking up” even though that’s a blatant lie). And all I remember is we were mad at ROS for not emailing us. Any soberer updates?

If this headline doesn’t inspire a post, I don’t know what will: “Urban Culture Enthusiast Nick Friedell’s Politically Incorrect Friend SOS to See Flo Rida in Concert Tomorrow, Race Riots Predicted Throughout Northern Taiwan”
July 15th, 2008 at 9:23 am
It will take the Cubs disenfranchising their team to inspire a post. Anything short of that, we’ll have to just entertain ourselves.

in honor of ogre’s attendance at tonight’s all-star game, check out this old post i came across:

I just found out that there is bar right near Wrigley called “The Man Hole”.
July 17th, 2008 at 4:17 pm
No way! There’s a bar near Tropicana Field with the same name! Though some refer to it simply as “the ROS pad…”

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Speaking of ROS, I’m surprised he hasn’t become a regular contributor on the LAN boards. Think about it, the comments section of this site has so many things that ROS loves:
-Myriad pejorative remarks pertaining to the Cubs? Check.
-Subtle poking fun of BOS (the online equivalent of “vittles”)? Check.
-Stupid SOS jokes? Check.
With the notable exceptions of blackouts and portly black chicks, this website has everything a ROS could want. I demand an explanation!

I do know for a fact that he is in Spain. Do they not have the internets there? On a side note, we had our Morgan and Morgan accounting barbcue yesterday at my boss’ house. We got an inflatable slip and slide and enough alcohol to…well, it was a lot. When you mix the two together, all safety is thrown out the window. A long story short, this slip and slide had two lanes and was 30 feet long. At the end is a small ramp that launches you a good 10 feet across the lawn depending how fast you were going. Apparently I broke the sound barrier on the slide and flew just short of a brick wall. The damage? Partially torn rotator cuff and a cracked rib. But that didnt stop me from completeing my goal of 10 beer bongs in 2 hours. I’d like to thank SOS for always believing in me through my worst hangovers and BOS for updating his website. Wait….

Any chance of you suing your boss as a result of this injury?! Nothing like a good ole fashion intra-Morgan & Morgan law suit. And, hey, you wouldn’t even have to call anyone; you’d just have to ride the elevator up a few floors to file your claim!
On a more serious note, I hope your injury isn’t too grave. Will you be ready for myriad beer bongs on labor day? (Not the whole weekend, just labor day).
July 21st, 2008 at 7:38 am
I am always ready for a myraid of beer bongs, no matter what condition I am in.

To quote a previous blog: “Keep Dooling and get rid of Arroyo, Bogans, Redick, Garrity, and whoever else is taking up space on the Magic’s bench” - Nick Friedell
So what do the magic do? They trade Dooling for cash.
Soriano is starting rehab, Kerry Wood is going on the DL and the Cubs just got fined by the league for breaking draft rules. So much to write about, yet so few blogs.
And Sossypoo: I meant American football, obviously excluding the Buffalo Bills. Speaking of which, Bagel will you be attending the Bowden Bowl this year?

I think we should all submit an entry concerning which subject’s lack of coverage by life after newhouse is the biggest travesty,nd defend one’s submission with salient points and semi-coherent reasoning with a little wit thrown into the mix. Or, you know, a blog post.

TAMPA, Fla. – No more bone-jarring tackles for John Lynch. The hard-hitting, nine-time Pro Bowl safety retired Monday, saying it was time to begin a new phase of life after 11 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and four more with the
